We are NRIDB
........created for the sole purpose of regenerating the eastern states of Nigeria, the Nigeria Research Information and Development Bureau (NRIDB) is the official aid agency of the communities comprising of the eastern states of Nigeria for communities comprising of the eastern states of Nigeria.
As part of the Bureau, NRIDB is a non-profit organisation, with charitable intentions, whose main aims are to work towards the improvement of:
· Security (community safety)
· Stability, and
Economic development/regeneration in the
communities comprising of the eastern states Nigeria.
Inspired by a mission to restore the eastern states of Nigeria to their former glory NRIDB is the Out of Nigeria Call to action for the creation of a Security Stability and Development Fund (SSDF) funded by communities comprising of the eastern states of Nigeria for the economic regeneration of the communities comprising of the Eastern States of Nigeria.
NRIDB is currently in the process of commissioning a pilot of phases 1-2 of the strategic plan in one community in each of the 10 states comprising of the eastern states of Nigeria. The pilot slated to start at the end of 2016/early 2017 will provide the necessary information required to help identify communities of most need.
Implementation of the pilot phase of phase 3 is expected to take place in 1 community, 1 LGA in 1 state in the second half of 2017. This phase of the pilot will provide the necessary information required to help identify potential problems
that might affect the project hence inform the best process and likely outcome.
It will also help to form the basis from which NRIDB will roll out the
project to other communities.
NRIDB cannot achieve these goals without the unwavering full support of the community. We need funding to achieve these goals. We need to join together to create this fund because we can no longer continue to rely on failed governments and failed systems of governance to develop our land for us. We cannot rely on an iron bar to provide us with drinking water.
